A legal disclaimer

At Teravolt Labs, we build our products to withstand the rigors of flight. We stand behind the quality of our indigenous engineering with a comprehensive warranty and long-term support plan.

1. Standard 1-Year Limited Warranty

All Teravolt hardware products (including Flight Controllers, GPS Modules, Telemetry Radios, and BECs) are backed by a 1-Year Limited Warranty from the date of purchase.

What is Covered:

  • Manufacturing Defects: Issues arising from faulty materials or workmanship under normal use.

  • Dead on Arrival (DOA): Products that fail to power up or function immediately out of the box.

  • Component Failure: Spontaneous failure of onboard chips (sensors, MCUs, regulators) not caused by external factors.

What is NOT Covered (Exclusions):

  • Crash Damage: Physical damage resulting from drone crashes, collisions, or hard landings.

  • User Error: Damage caused by reverse polarity, incorrect wiring, or over-voltage application.

  • Soldering Mistakes: Damage caused by poor soldering, solder bridges, or overheating pads during installation.

  • Water/Moisture Damage: Unless the product is explicitly rated as waterproof (e.g., conformal coated).

  • Firmware Modding: "Bricking" a device by flashing incorrect or experimental firmware that is not supported.

2. Lifetime Technical Support

We don't just sell you hardware; we help you fly it. We offer Lifetime Technical Support on selected professional-series products (including the AeroF4, AeroNav-1, and AeroTel series).

What this includes:

  • Troubleshooting: Assistance with pinouts, wiring diagrams, and setup in Mission Planner/QGroundControl.

  • Firmware Updates: Access to the latest stable firmware builds for your Teravolt hardware.

  • Configuration Advice: Guidance on PID tuning and parameter setup for Teravolt components.

Note: Technical support is available via email at info@teravolt.in.

3. How to Make a Warranty Claim

If you believe your product has a manufacturing defect, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Support: Email us at support@teravolt.in with your Order ID and a description of the issue. Please include clear photos of your wiring setup.

  2. Troubleshooting: Our engineers will first try to resolve the issue remotely (often it is just a configuration error!).

  3. RMA Issuance: If the hardware is deemed defective, we will issue a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number.

  4. Shipment: Ship the defective unit to our Chandigarh service center.

  5. Resolution: Upon inspection, if the defect is validated, we will repair or replace the unit free of charge.

4. Liability Disclaimer

Teravolt Labs is not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from the use of our products, including but not limited to loss of drone airframes, payloads (cameras/gimbals), or third-party property damage.
